Vilebrequin The Webster

Vilebrequin The WebsterMiami-based specialty retailer The Webster and luxury swim and ready-to-wear brand Vilebrequin have teamed up on a special project to coincide with Miami Swim Week.

Developed exclusively for The Webster, the Coquillages et Crustacés glow in the dark Moorea is a limited-edition print, with only 19 pairs available for purchase globally and each numbered to represent the unique offering. Utilizing the original short from the 70s, the black and pink design has been updated to include a glow in the dark pattern to brighten up your night time swims.

Vilebrequin The WebsterTo celebrate the launch of the exclusive swim short, Vilebrequin partnered with The Webster to design an installation for their South Beach lobby space. A homage to 1970’s St. Tropez, the design was inspired by the beach-side cabana’s that line the beach side town whilst incorporating the pastel hues of South Beach’s iconic Art Deco architecture. The display showcases the latest men’s swim, ready-to-wear and sunglasses from Vilebrequin and will be live until July 30.

On Friday July 21, the rooftop space of The Webster’s iconic South Beach location was converted into a tropical oasis, where host Chris Burt Allan entertained guests as they sipped on special cocktails created by VDKA 6100 while the sun set over Miami beach. Notable guests included Alan Biasi, Danie Gomez Oretga, Angeles Alumna and Irma Martinez.
