When UK-based entrepreneur Ryan Mario Yasin’s nephew Vigo was born, he gifted the baby some clothes. By the time they arrived, they didn’t fit. “Children often grow seven sizes in their first two years,” says Yasin.

Frustrated by this built-in disposability, Yasin created Petit Pli, applying principles of origami and aeronautical engineering to pleated garments so they could “grow” with the wearer.
