WILLY CHAVARRIA X DICKIES LAUNCH EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION

by John Russel Jones

Designer Willy Chavarria and workwear brand Dickies released an exclusive collaboration today, available exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman, Willychavarria.com, and Dickies.com.

The Willy Chavarria x Dickies capsule collection champions the iconic workwear heritage crafted by Dickies for more than 100 years while infusing Chavarria’s visionary approach to design to provide fans with reimagined takes on the iconic silhouettes of hero Dickies products such as work shirts, pants, and jackets.

Chavarria’s design sense has consistently taken familiar styles that have impacted fashion through culture and remastered them to reflect on their expression with a dramatic design interpretation. In this collaboration, customers can expect a unification of Dickies classic styles with Chavarria’s signature details and elegant tailoring, which are synonymous with the fashion visionary.

“I have had a long and personal relationship with Dickies – growing up wearing the brand and later being inspired by it,” said Willy Chavarria. “Few brands have been globally iconic and had such an important role in cultural narratives as Dickies. To me, the most elegant look will always be a clean, pressed pair of Dickies pants worn with a crisp white T-shirt.”

“Our latest collaboration with Willy Chavarria is a great representation of how Dickies seeks to highlight our heritage, quality workwear products while also championing creative vision” said Dickies Director of Merchandising, Ann Richardson. “We’re thrilled to work with a style icon like Willy Chavarria to create a collection that highlights our shared passions of authentic style and self-expression.”

The collection includes a total of nine pieces, including: structured work shirts, oversized bomber jackets, wide-leg cargo pants, tailored shorts and more, created in a sophisticated color palette of black and beige. Retail prices range from $210.00 to $250.00.
