ZODIAC WATCHES AND ROWING BLAZERS COLLABORATE ON WATCH INSPIRED BY THE MOVIE TRADING PLACES

by John Russel Jones

Zodiac Watches and Rowing Blazers have partnered once again to launch a new Super Sea Wolf World Time GMT watch. The watch is singularly unique in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to 20 atmospheres. The design is inspired by a watch featured in the 1983 comedy classic movie Trading Places that was able to tell time simultaneously around the world.

The image campaign features Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation, Severance, Big Little Lies), including one that recreates the mugshot from the movie.

Featuring a black dial with Rowing Blazers’ distinctive logo and Super LumiNova hands and makers for unparalleled visibility in all light conditions, this latest iteration of Zodiac’s iconic Super Sea Wolf World Time GMT can tell the time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, Philadelphia, London, Paris, Rome and Gstaad.

Complemented by the traditional universal Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) tracker paired with a world-time rotating bezel denoting 27 global cities in Rowing Blazers’ signature blue hue, the Zodiac x Rowing Blazers Super Sea Wolf GMT case holds a Swiss-made STP 7-20 movement and is limited to only 282 units. The watch retails for $2,195 at zodiacwatches.com.
