Canada Goose Partners with Feng Chen Wang and Xu Zhen for FW22 Collection

by John Russel Jones

Canada Goose revealed a first look at its latest collaborative collection last week during Paris Fashion Week. Partnering with Chinese-born designer Feng Chen Wang and Chinese artist Xu Zhen, the luxury lifestyle brand brings its performance expertise to an exclusive FW22 collection where the brand’s heritage styles are deconstructed through Feng Chen Wang’s designs and Xu Zhen’s optimistic prints. The full collection will be available to purchase in Fall 2022.

The 12-piece collaboration focuses on exaggerated proportions and technical deconstruction to create men’s, women’s, and unisex clothing that is not only functional but also conceptual and personal, drawing from Wang’s life experiences. The project features down outerwear and knitwear, new Canada Goose product categories with a skirt and woven pants as well as a first ever footwear collaboration.

Feng Chen Wang is a Chinese-born, London-based designer at the forefront of a new generation of fashion talent emerging from China. Feng studied MA Fashion Menswear at the prestigious Royal College of Art, London, graduating in 2015. Wang debuted at New York Fashion Week for Spring Summer 2016 earning a nomination for the LVMH Prize and her AW20 collection was a finalist of the International Woolmark Prize.

XU ZHEN, founded by artist Xu Zhen in 2013, is the flagship art brand of MadeIn Company. XU ZHEN is committed to art creation and cutting-edge culture development. XU ZHEN is one such initiative to offer spiritual aspirations and life experiences of the finest quality through the appreciation and collection of artworks and events produced by the brand.
