CFDA ADDS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Virgil Abloh, Maria Cornejo, Kery Jean-Raymond, and Carly Cushnie

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and its chairman Tom Ford have appointed four new members to its board of directors: Virgil Abloh, Maria Cornejo, Kery Jean-Raymond, and Carly Cushnie.

The new members join existing board members Tracy Reese (vice chairwoman), Vera Wang (secretary), Stan Herman (treasurer), Stacey Bendet, Dao-Yi Chow, Prabal Gurung, Tommy Hilfiger, Norma Kamali, Michael Kors, Reed Krakoff, Ralph Lauren, Ashley Olsen, Italo Zucchelli, and Diane von Furstenberg.

Additionally, Ford created an advisory board featuring experts in the fields of art, entertainment, media, and contemporary culture in general. Serving on the advisory board to the chairman of the CFDA are John Demsey, Nina Garcia, Bethann Hardison, Bryan Lourd, Elizabeth Saltzman, Virginia Smith, Will Welch, and Daniella Vitale.
