THE DONEGER GROUP NAMES STUART GOLDBLATT SVP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The Doneger Group, a global leader in creative, merchandising and business strategies for the retail and fashion industries, has appointed Stuart Goldblatt to the newly created position of senior vice president of Business Development. Goldblatt will work directly with Doneger’s senior executives in developing strategies to drive the company’s growth reporting to Abbey Doneger, president and CEO.

Goldblatt joins The Doneger Group with over 35 years of retail and merchandising experience. Most recently, as president and COO of the Bill Blass Group, he developed and executed a complete merchandising and go-to-market strategy for the brand. Previously, Goldblatt spent 15 years with Macy’s Inc as EVP of Merchandising for the Private Brands Group and as SVP/GMM for men’s, young men’s, boys and children’s.

“I have known Stuart for many years and am thrilled to have the opportunity to work together,” said Doneger. “He is a strategic thinker who I believe has the ability to recognize potential unique growth opportunities for our company. His industry knowledge and experience will be a valuable asset to our organization.”
