ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA’S COLLECTION WITH FEAR OF GOD HITS STORES

The highly-anticipated collaboration between Ermenegildo Zegna and Fear of God has finally hit stores.

The excellence of Ermenegildo Zegna’s sartorial take and the sophisticated leisurewear of Fear of God blend naturally, mixing and merging, reinventing silhouettes and proportions in a continuous cross-reference between Milan and Los Angeles and back.

The collection is a total look: suits whose jackets lose their revers and where the pockets slide along the sides, coats designed with the absolute comfort of a one size fits all concept and made from the finest natural fabrics, a super lightweight suede shirt-jacket, and black leather bomber, both featuring an embossed Zegna logo. Jeans share the same casual attitude as accessories, among which western ankle boots and long woven belts that tie at the front. The color palette, with its mélange grey, vicuna, and taupe, is all about neutrals.

To celebrate the official global launch of the Fear of God exclusively for Ermenegildo Zegna collection, two main events will take place on September 25th. One in Chengdu, China with the opening of a pop–up store, where the design and the settings will follow the footprints of the launch event in Paris last March, and one between Milan and Los Angeles, where Sartori and Lorenzo respectively will digitally walk the guests through the collection, during a live-streaming conversation hosted by Highsnobiety in Zegna boutiques.

“We are crossing into new territories by redefining a concept for a generation who have never approached this world,” said Alessandro Sartori, artistic director at Zegna. “On one side, this collaboration enhanced the tradition of tailoring and the history of suiting, on the other, twisted the concept of Sartoria into a new easy to wear mood. We are moving forward in this direction, leading the young generation into a contemporary artistic grammar of style.”

An exclusive assortment of the complete Fear of God exclusively for Ermenegildo Zegna collection will be available at the newly redesigned Zegna.com as well as at FearofGod.com.

The collection will be offered at selected Zegna flagship stores and contemporary pop-up spaces within key international wholesalers such as Antonioli (Milan), Harrods (London), Selfridges (London), Saks Fifth Avenue (New York City), Innersect (Shanghai), and Boontheshop (Seoul).

Fear of God exclusively for Ermenegildo Zegna will also be carried by digital retailers including Farfetch, Tmall, SSENSE, End Clothing, Mr.Porter, and Matchesfashion.
