EXECUTIVE MOVES: POLUKORD JOINS AMERICAN HERITAGE, DENK JOINS DSW

Jason Polukord has been hired as president of American Heritage Clothing Company, a division of Kani Tekstil. Polukord is a seasoned industry professional with an impressive career trajectory that spans over two decades, having worked with Hugo Boss, Ben Sherman, Original Penguin, Canterbury of New Zealand, and Tailor Vintage.

Designer Brands Inc., has named Laura Denk president of DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse (“DSW”) and Executive Vice President of Designer Brands, effective July 24, 2023. Denk will be responsible for leading the retailer’s nearly 500 U.S. store locations and e-commerce channel, and report directly to CEO Doug Howe. She was most recently Chief Merchandising Officer and Executive Vice President at Michaels Stores, Inc., and has also held leadership positions at Claire’s Stores, Inc. and Macy’s, Inc.
