At one of the first holiday events of the season, Laurie Haspel hosted a wonderful press dinner last night at Bo’s Kitchen and Bar Room on 24th Street in New York, thanking editors and bloggers (and a few surprise celebrities) for all the great press and introducing Will Swillie, their talented new EVP/Managing Director.

Despite the heavy rain, the mood was festive, with fabulous New Orleans-style cuisine (loved the fried alligator!), some powerful New Orleans-inspired cocktails and many creatively dressed guys (the official dress code on the invite read “Holiday Festive: Save your seersucker for Spring!”) Hot topics of the evening included holiday vacations, memories of Christmases past, and the tremendous potential of a reinvented Haspel brand.
