Jim Brooks joins Lilly Pulitzer as men’s sales manager

NEW YORK – Lilly Pulitzer, a leading designer of women’s, children’s and men’s products inspired by the authentic Palm Beach lifestyle, announced today that James Brooks has joined the company as National Sales Manager of Men’s Sales. Brooks will oversee the sales and distribution of the company’s men’s apparel collection, which launched in Summer 2007. This newly created position will report directly to Michael Wallace, Vice President of Wholesale Sales.

“Jim is an important hire for us. He has a keen understanding of the Lilly Pulitzer consumer and of the upscale menswear market. He has a history of success in wholesale sales for similar lifestyle brands and an in-depth knowledge of the product,” says Wallace. “With his experience, skills and talent, he will take an already successful men’s category to the next level.”

Brooks joins Lilly Pulitzer after four years as the Director of Sales and Account Relations for Vineyard Vines® in Greenwich, Connecticut. Prior to his work with Vineyard Vines®, Brooks was a Key Account Executive for Hickey Freeman, in New York City.

The Spring 2008 Lilly Pulitzer Men’s Collection will make its debut at the Haberdashery Show at the Warwick Hotel.
