Levi’s has launched its second capsule collection with music superstar Justin Timberlake.

Dubbed, “Fresh Leaves”, the duo’s spring/summer 2019 line takes inspiration from Memphis and its iconic music culture. From graphic tees that reference the Zippin Pippin rollercoaster in the old East End Park, Skateland roller rink, and University of Memphis Tigers Basketball, to Timberlake’s spin on the Trucker jacket paying homage to the music idols who paved the way, the collection is loaded with nostalgic nods to the Memphis of Timberlake’s youth.

“Memphis and music have always been a big part of me,” said the Grammy award-winning artist. “And it became a huge part of this collection, just going back to the places and things I loved here as a kid.”

At the heart of the collection is the Levi’s 501 Slim Taper in washed black, a carryover from Timberlake’s fall 2018 collection where it was first introduced as an homage to how he wears his jeans on stage. This style also comes in white for a lighter springtime vibe. But the biggest news of all for spring 2019 is the introduction of the Levi’s 502 Taper in faded indigo and solid black —currently the Levi’s brand’s best-selling fit.

The collection also features a range of hoodies and Truckers—several with “Fresh Leaves” sleeve screen prints—a Trucker-hoodie hybrid, graphic tees in short and long-sleeve, and a print short-sleeve button-up.

“An American icon, Justin is the perfect partner for Levi’s, and this collection is a celebration of his hometown of Memphis, the embodiment of American music and authentic self–expression,” added Jennifer Sey, chief marketing officer for Levi Strauss & Co. “The collection celebrates Memphis along with our heritage, featuring the original 501 (the very first blue jean), as well as the most relevant products of today including a twist on current favorites like the 502 taper, the ideal jean for the sneaker-obsessed fan.”

The collection, which retails between $38 and $148, is now available at Levi’s stores, levi.com, and Nordstrom.
