MMG Gets Zanetti License
NEW YORK – Tailored clothing manufacturer Zanetti has licensed its brand to MMG Corp. for a line of neckwear targeted for better specialty stores.
In the last few years, MMG has built a stable of better brands, including Daniel de Fasson, John Bartlett, Steve Harvey and Tango. Dave Klaus, vice president of sales at MMG, called Zanetti “a perfect fit that will help us penetrate new retailers and market segments. Zanetti gives us an opportunity in the European fashion marketplace with a product that will be beautifully made but will give the retailer and consumer a great value.”
Jack Banafsheha, executive vice president of Zanetti, commented, “This is an important step in our quest to make Zanetti even more significant in the better men’s market.”
The line will launch for holiday 2007 and will be available for preview at The Collective in New York.
