NUORDER OFFERS A NEW WAY FOR RETAILERS TO SHOP COLLECTIONS
Leading B2B e-commerce platform NuOrder has introduced a new way for brands to interact with its wholesale partners.
Called Virtual Showrooms, brands are now able to showcase their products in a new interactive way with shoppable content and the ability for users to see products in 360-degrees from every angle. NuOrder says that this technology helps to solve the key issues brands and retailers are facing in light of the extensive travel restrictions the industry is currently facing due to COVID-19.
NuOrder’s new Virtual Showroom offering comes at a crucial time when the fashion, apparel, and outdoor industries are conducting business remotely and the virtual buying process has become increasingly essential for brands and retailers.
“We are in a period of great change in our industry, said Heath Wells, co-CEO and co-founder of NuOrder. “Our customers need a solution to present and sell their products in the absence of any travel. With the uncertainty of physical markets, trade shows, and fashion events, we know that the Virtual Showroom will help solve the needs for brands and retailers alike during this critical time.”
The company’s new Virtual Showroom offering will become available for its brands and retailer partners in June or July.
Currently, the platform works with more than 2,000 brands and 500,000 retailers, including Acne, Rag & Bone, Zegna, Vince, Theory, Arc’Teryx, Lacoste as well as Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s.

It’s a great idea but…… how am I going to be able to feel, touch and tell the quality of the goods and / or the finished product the brand is offering prior to buying it for my store to sell to my customer ???? The answer to this query is crucial to my survival as a business competing against the other merchants / stores in my town , city or even online in cyberspace . The most important skill I have is my ability to buy the best product for the lowest price . Is this even possible here ?
Just asking…..
Hi Barry, NuOrder acts as the bridge between the brand and the retailer, kind of like a digital trade show. Since it’s really up to the brands to operate each online “showroom” perhaps you can request swatches from the brands you work with to be able to feel the fabrics. I know this is an imperfect solution, but this may have to be the way to buy for this upcoming season until in-person meetings are more feasible.
As hard as you try, digital can never replace the fabric in hand. This is nothing new, and its impact grows with the price point.
Regardless, this is the world we are living in.
Requesting samples can assist obviously. More importantly tho, trust in the relationship with the brand helps a lot.
