ORLEBAR BROWN LAUNCHES ‘BEACH CAMO’ CAPSULE

by Stephen Garner

Orlebar Brown has launched the first capsule from its autumn collection.

Called “Beach Camo,” the 14-piece assortment is a tribute to the beach, travel, and good times, according to the brand in a statement.

The featured print takes inspiration from traditional camouflage patterns made in France in the early 20th century, created to feign invisibility. Reimagined in-house and aptly named ‘Camo’, the primary purpose of this capsule is to make the wearer stand out.

Available in Lake Blue and Dark Umber colorways, the ‘Camo’ print features on the Bulldog and Standard swim shorts, and three versatile footwear styles (Haddon, Haston, and Larson).

The hero style is the Sutherland, a windproof, water-resistant jacket made from recycled nylon tri-layer fabric, with a packable hood and a detachable body poly-fill liner.

The bold ‘Camo’ print is balanced by three OB-T T-shirts and three Terry towelling polos all in this season’s rich palette.

Orlebar Brown’s Beach Camo capsule, which retails between$75 and $675, is now available in-store and online.

  1. All I can say is I really like it. I used to be a Buyer for a Military Base — this would have been an ‘in demand’ item in the more reasonable price ranges.
