PAUL STUART OPENS NEW STORE IN SOUTHAMPTON

by Stephen Garner

For the first time in the company’s 80-plus year history, Paul Stuart is heading to the beach this summer with a brand new, full-service store at 50 Main Street in Southampton, New York. The 1,900 square foot store will open on July 1st and will feature styles for men and women from the sportswear, tailored clothing, accessories, and footwear collections.

“We couldn’t be happier to make this exciting announcement,” said Paulette Garafalo, CEO of Paul Stuart. “After closing our stores in March due to COVID-19, we are thrilled to finally be welcoming our many customers back to our existing stores in New York, Chicago, and D.C. along with this new boutique on Long Island.”

For summer, Paul Stuart has everything well-dressed men and women need for their travels from the office to the beach. From the perfect-sized straw tote or a sun hat to a custom-tailored seersucker suit, the new store will have its customers well-attired from head to toe.

The retailer’s Phineas Cole collection will offer sailing print sports jackets, cargo pocket shorts, lightweight knit polo shirts, and foul weather anoraks. For women, there are cotton poplin summer dresses, lightweight knits for cooler nights, and sophisticated loungewear for lazy afternoons. Footwear styles include classic espadrilles, suede bucs, and sneakers in leather and suede.

Now that we are coming out of quarantine, and ready to resume our “regularly scheduled” activities, Garafalo says, “With this new store in Southampton, we are thrilled to meet again with old and new customers who are spending time there this summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our new showcase for our seasonal collections.”
