TODD SNYDER TO OPEN FIRST U.S. FLAGSHIP
Todd Snyder has confirmed that his company will be opening its first U.S. store in New York City at 23 East 26th Street, sometime this fall. Snyder’s new flagship will reportedly take up 5,700 square feet of the building, according to The Wall Street Journal. Specific details on the layout and design are pending.
The company, which was acquired last year by American Eagle, currently operates four stores in Japan. The company’s Tokyo flagship store, “The Townhouse”, features a tailor shop, a barber and a whiskey bar, in addition to selling Snyder’s apparel and accessories.
Snyder was recently nominated by the CFDA as Menswear Designer of the Year. He is known for his collaborations with such brands as Champion, Cole Haan, and Timex, in addition to his eponymous line of sportswear.
