BUM EQUIPMENT LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION WITH URBAN OUTFITTERS
BUM Equipment, the well-known California lifestyle brand, has launched an exclusive collection with Urban Outfitters on Tuesday, July 4.
This collection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, and roll bag was designed specifically for the Urban Outfitter’s customer, and is available online now and will be in stores next week. This marks the first real collection of tops and bottoms BUM Equipment has debuted since the relaunch of the brand late last year.
Since last fall, BUM Equipment has signed on 10 new licenses. The brand has added men’s, women’s and boys knits through a deal with Freeze. It also added infants, toddlers, and boys wovens and non-logo knits through a deal with Land N Sea. Stepping Stones is now making its infant and toddler hosiery and footwear, while International Intimates makes its 0-18 and 0-14 underwear, sleepwear, and intimate apparel along with its girls 8-18 activewear. Along with these licenses, BUM is working with ROI for eyewear, Sheralven for fragrance, MMD for men’s underwear, and Gold Medal Hosiery for men’s and women’s hosiery.
“We are presently working on new deals for luggage, back packs, sports bags, and hats, and we hope to have them ready to go later this year,” says Stephen Wayne, Chairman of the Board of Bum Equipment LLC. “We just finished an ad campaign that we introduced at the NBA Finals and at the NHL Stanley Cup Finals three weeks ago, and are planning a marketing campaign to launch in late August and early September.”
