Moschino Coming To L.A. For Resort And Menswear Show
On the heels of his annual Coachella bash in Palm Desert, Calif., last month, Jeremy Scott is returning to Los Angeles on June 8 to present his 2018 Moschino resort and menswear collections. The designer, who has his own namesake collection as well as acts as creative director for Italian luxury label Moschino, calls L.A. home when he’s not in Milan. He presented his Jeremy Scott collection in the City of Angels last year, headlining MADE L.A.’s annual fashion extravaganza, which also featured a presentation from Tyler the Creator’s Golf Wang label and Hood By Air. “Los Angeles is the most important city in the world to me,” Scott told The Hollywood Reporter in 2016. “I think that’s why I moved here and left Paris. It’s a megaphone to the world. What people look at to even figure out what they want to wear are the [film and music] stars.” Though last year’s show drew many of Moschino’s Hollywood fans, including Katy Perry, Caitlyn Jenner, Vanessa Hudgens and Cindy Crawford, who arrived with her model kids, Kaia and Presley Gerber, in tow, this year’s presentation will not be affiliated with MADE L.A. Instead, Scott and the Moschino team will present the collection at Milk Studios in Hollywood — and we have no doubt that this year’s show will be just as star-studded. “Los Angeles is where I live, and to quote Dorothy, ‘There is no place like home!’” Scott said in a release.
