THE ART OF STORYTELLING

by Karen Alberg Grossman

Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference. With all the lessons retailers have learned from the pandemic (less is more, curated assortments, the power of new, phone calls trump emails, customize and personalize, incentivize sellers…), there’s nothing like a fabulous video that portrays the beauty of nature, the glory of romance, the power of music, and the sublime lift one gets from great clothes.

A perfect example: this video from Craig Beecroft at Beecroft & Bull, who shares that “we aren’t seeing 2019 numbers yet, but our Virginia Beach location is up 200 percent since March and was up 330 percent in the month of April (which illuminates just how BAD last April was). We’re selling clothing again; Canali and Isaia have been the stars.”

Beecroft credits this video to videographer Curtis Boggs, photographer Mark Atkinson of Otto Design & Marketing, and to his brother Bryan who continues to inspire him from heaven.

For those who are not divinely inspired, Wainscot Media and MR can help you create value-priced storytelling in print, video, and digital formats. For info: Shae.Marcus@wainscotmedia.com.
